RAF North Luffenham.1960 -1963.
Selected for Bloodhound ground-to-air
missile training. Posted to 151 Wing,
RAF Tengah.
1963-1966, Selected for nuclear weapons training.
RAF Abingdon. 1966 -1968. Returned to UK, left Royal Air Force and immigrated to Canada.

After several initial jobs, joined Ford Motor Company (Canada) in 1972. Worked as a
line supervisor at the Windsor operations until 1976. Transferred to Human Resources as
a Plant Safety Engineer.
After two promotions, was transferred to Ford US (Dearborn,
Michigan) in 1987 as a Division Safety Engineer. Responsible for 9 Ford North
American Engine Operations. (USA, Canada and Mexico).
In 1992, was appointed Division Safety Engineer for Fo Global Powertrain Operations,
responsible for 33 Engine, Chasis, Transmission and Casting operations in USA, Canada, UK,
Germany and Mexico.
Retired in December 1999. Continued to work for automotive industry on safety and
training contract assignments.
Completely retired in August 2004.
Served in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve for 12 years.
Retired with the rank of Captain after a 4 year term as Commanding Officer, 364 Squadron,
Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
Now living in Windsor, Ontario, just off Lake St Clair.
I am the proud father of a daughter (Karen), and two sons
(Robert and Mark). Robert and his wife Lisa have blessed me with two beautiful
grandchildren, Erica and Nicholas.
My plan for this new phase of my life is to consolidate my finances over the next
four years in Canada and then, god willing, return to England.
